An ordinary woman who adores yellow boots and an extraordinary God – and knowing His truth changes everything because it silences the lies we believe about ourselves.
My life has been good, hard, messy, and joy-filled. I’ve battled that inner voice that whispers “not enough” and I’ve discovered the freedom that comes when God’s truth speaks louder. Now that I’m firmly in my latter half, there’s nothing I want more than to help women quiet those lying voices and step into who they really are.
I love using Scripture as the foundational tool to guide women from the “shoulds” to freedom, from comparison to confidence, from striving to thriving. You should know that I love Jesus deeply. And I genuinely care about YOUR story and YOUR freedom – I can’t wait to connect with you and cheer you on.
I would love nothing more than to pull up two cozy chairs, hand you a cuppa something comforting, and listen to your heart. I want to know about your struggles with that inner voice that says you’re not enough. I want to hear about your dreams that feel buried under all the “shoulds.”

Meet my Family
Darrell and I have been married for 40 years. The good definitely outweighs the hard and there’s been plenty of both. We are daily learning to love each other well. It’s such a comfort to know God is in the business of teaching us how to love others!
Favorite family facts: we have 3 grown kids, and 4 adorable grands. I’m thankful for the joys, and even the struggles of the mom years. The Lord was teaching me so much – sometimes the same lesson over and over! But now, with adult kids, I get to learn (and relearn) from them.
And grandkids? It’s like loving your kids as littles all over again!

My Yellow Boots = My Listen & Learn Tool
My garden is a favorite place to see evidence of God care for His creation. I’ve learned to invite Him to cultivate the soil of my life. In my yellow boots, I remember that God is not afraid of the muddy, mucky, places in my heart or life. Rather, He is the Master Gardener. The One who lovingly pulls up the weeds, prunes away dead branches, and provides the nourishment I need to flourish.
My yellow boots also remind me of my mom. 💛
My mom was an avid gardener, a constant source of wisdom, a beautiful example of hospitality, and a woman of abiding faith. She believed that God saw her, knew her and loved her deeply. It is her influence that draws me to both God and the garden.
I smile thinking about how much my mom would like my yellow boots. When I clip a fragrant rose, I am reminded of God’s creative rhythm for the seasons and that He knows what is happening in the soil of my soul. And He loves me enough to grow me into His likeness.
